"Full value for money"

I've bought three lots of automation software, Iopus' Internet Macros, Lencom's Visual Web Task and VelocityScape's Web Scraper Plus+ 2. Visual Web Task was a dire experience and with Internet Macro you need alot of patience with the technical support team. Without a doubt, Web Scraper Plus+ 2 by far outclasses its rivals. This software does actually do what it promises (unlike the others). More importantly, the technical support is tremendous. In my instance, the CEO produced a much needed software amendment for me on a Sunday morning enabling me to complete a massive web data extraction by the evening time. Although, Web Scraper Plus+ 2 does have some upfront automation limitations, I can highly recommend this product to you; regardless of your level of experience.

I wanted to mine pricing information from a few websites. I got the first extraction routine running in about 30 minutes. Cool product.

I had no idea that this type of software existed, but I really like it. I'm not very technical, so I had some difficulty figuring out some of the advanced features, but ultimately, I was able to extract an entire list of 2500 contacts in a lot less time than it would have taken me manually. Now that I understand how it works, I think I could to the same thing in about 15-20 minutes. That's pretty good for me. The other feature that I really like is the ability to save to Excel directly from within the browser. That way I can do smaller lists without the need to set up a full web spider. All in all, I think the product is awesome, and the learning curve was very much worth it. There are just so many things that I can do now that I never even thought of before.
